The Netherlands and Ukraine Join Forces: Stfalcon CEO in the Delegation

Strengthening cooperation and establishing new ties between Ukrainian and Dutch industries was the main goal of a working visit to the province of Overijssel in the Netherlands by a Ukrainian delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Economy Nadiya Bigun.

During the visit, the delegation, which also included representatives of Ukrainian companies, including Stepan Tanasiychuk, CEO of Stfalcon, actively interacted with the management of local companies located in Overijssel, as well as with local authorities.

The Purpose of the Work Visit to the Netherlands

The visit was organized by the Eastern Netherlands Development Agency Oost NL and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine with the support of the UCORD project. The purpose of the working visit of Ukrainian regional development agencies was to establish new ties between Ukrainian and Dutch producers.

During the trip, the delegation met with business representatives from the province of Overijssel, regional development agencies, industrial parks, factories, and government officials.

The Netherlands is known for its strong logistics and export potential due to a large number of sea and river ports and an extensive network of logistics routes throughout Europe. At the same time, the province of Overijssel in the eastern Netherlands is actively developing business clusters, focusing on the Agrifood industry and energy-efficient solutions. The delegation for the visit included regional development agencies from 4 Ukrainian regions: Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Odesa, and Sumy, as well as business representatives. These agencies act as key "entry points" for establishing business ties and developing a strategic approach to cooperation with Ukrainian regions.

The visit of this delegation was an important step in deepening cooperation. This is something that the Dutch greatly appreciate and Ukrainians desperately need, especially in the face of economic challenges during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Conclusion

As a result of this working trip, 4 regional development agencies in Ukraine - Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Odesa, and Sumy regions - signed memoranda of cooperation with the Development Agency of the Eastern Netherlands (Oost NL).

In addition to interesting information, new contacts were established. Now the next step is to translate these agreements into new contracts and concrete results.
