As of February 28, 2024, the Air Alert Application has received extended functionality. So, what has been added to the updated app?
Air Alert 6.0 Update
The Air Alert app will now send warnings of increased danger in certain cities and communities. In the updated version of the Air Alert app, notifications about an approaching missile or unmanned aerial vehicle will be sent in addition to the general alarm. This will allow users to be notified of a threat to their location.
In addition, the following functionality was added to the application:
- Adjusting the volume of the notification “Increased danger!”
- Notification if the message “Increased danger!” stops coming
Information about all types of danger is transmitted by responsible officers of the Civil Defense in the military regional administrations of Ukraine. Coordination of alarms is provided by emergency services.
To receive these additional threat alerts, please install version 6.0 of the app. If the app doesn't update itself, update it manually or reinstall it. The update is already available for iOS and Android users.
