Anycar Enters a B2C Market
With a User-First and
Secure Platform for Car Sharing
Challenge
Build a simple and secure P2P app to scale beyond B2B
Solution
A P2P car-sharing app for renters and car owners
Anycar needed an app that would connect car owners with people who need them. For owners, safety and protection were essential. For renters, convenience and clarity came first. We built a platform that meets both needs with secure and straightforward features. Here are the core ones.
Added protection & control
Anycar provides additional features that help renters and owners manage risks.
Insurance offers
When renting a car through the app, renters can choose from several guarantee packages that cover expenses like car washes, minor damages, or basic maintenance. If something goes wrong, owners file a compensation claim in-app and Anycar manages the resolution based on the renter's chosen coverage. Car owners may also buy a car insurance policy through a simplified procedure via the app.
GPS tracking
In partnership with Antenor, Anycar lets owners install GPS trackers and monitor their cars in real time. Users can book an installation via the app and track their car’s location anytime.
Admin panel for user
verification and support
New renters and owners must submit verification documents during registration, including ID cards, driver’s licenses, proof of vehicle ownership, and more. Administrators review the submissions and approve or reject accounts. They can also communicate with users via chat, set user fees, and more.

Landing page to build trust and credibility
Our team also developed a landing page where users can browse cars for rent. Once they find a car, the page directs them straight to the app stores to download the app.

Process
How we built a car-sharing app that balances two roles
The project kicked off in November 2024 with an in-depth discovery phase. Our team had several offline meetings with the client and aligned on the business goals. We listened, asked questions, and explored the market to understand what users expect from shared mobility.
From day one, we prioritized simplicity and trust. Right at the first tap, users should feel confident their vehicles and payments are protected. Here’s how we coped with this task.
We designed user flows that work for both sides
At this stage, our team worked on user experience. We studied competitor apps to see which features worked well and which caused friction. Using that research, we mapped user journeys and defined essential features for the MVP.
One of the core flows focused on handing the car to a renter and returning it to the owner. Every step in this process was made intuitive, visually consistent, and easy to follow. Users get tips at each step and can reach support anytime during the handover/return.
Here is the flow for the car handover.
The renter selects a car in the app.
The owner confirms the booking.
Renter and owner meet at the agreed time and place.
Renter records a video (and photos) of the car’s condition in the app.
Renter and owner confirm the car’s condition before handover.
And here is how it works when the car is returned.
The renter meets the owner at the agreed location.
The owner records a video (and photos) of the car’s condition.
Both parties confirm the car’s condition after the rental.
The owner submits a claim for damages. Admin approves or rejects it.
Car return is finalized.
We integrated Diia for document multisharing
Every user, renter or owner, has to verify their identity before joining Anycar. They can do it manually or use Diia, Ukraine’s official digital identification platform.
When we started the project, Diia had just launched a new API for third-party verification. We joined the beta program and coordinated with Diia's team to stay aligned as the API evolved. By launch, Stfalcon became one of the first companies in Ukraine to implement Diia verification in an app. With users’ consent, Diia shares official documents directly with Anycar, and admins receive government-backed credentials they can trust. It speeds up the process and reduces fraud risk.
We added a real-time chat to the admin panel
Along with mobile apps for Android and iOS, the system includes a web-based admin panel. We built it using EasyAdmin, a flexible, ready-to-use framework that's ideal for managing backend operations without building from scratch.
However, EasyAdmin does not provide built-in chat functionality. To connect users directly with admins, we implemented a real-time chat using WebSocket and integrated it into the admin panel.
We integrated GPS tracking, insurance, and secure payments
To extend the platform's reliability and functionality, we integrated three services:
Antenor for real-time GPS tracking. It gives car owners visibility into vehicle location and usage.
TAS Insurance Company. Owners can purchase car insurance policies directly through the app without external providers.
Wayforpay, a secure payment gateway for all transactions between renters and owners.
We launched the app and continue improving it
In August 2025, Stfalcon launched the first MVP. We began closed testing with the client’s internal team to fix real-world issues. The following month, the app officially went live for end-users. Today, we support the application, monitor performance, and improve usability based on user feedback.
Result
A secure P2P car-sharing app for renters and owners alike
We built a simple car-sharing app where users can manage two roles within one account. They can switch between modes in seconds and use one account to rent a car or share their own whenever they want.
- Expanded into the B2C market with a user-friendly app.
- Safe, verified environment for P2P car sharing.
- Real-time chat and responsive 24/7 client support.
- Scalable platform ready for further growth.
